'The Impact of Christianity in England'

Come explore the contribution that Christianity has had to such things as the development of education and the growth of modern science, our ideas of religious and political freedom, and our notions of human rights and justice.

We also show a 20 minute video highlighting the founding and history of the University of Cambridge which is itself a testament to the presence and flourishing of Christianity in England.

‘The Impact of Christianity in England’ Living History Exhibition in the Round Church Cambridge was written by Ian Cooper, historian and tutor for Christian Heritage. It was officially opened on 22 June 2005 by The Mayor of Cambridge Cllr John Hipkin.

A tremendous snapshot of religious history. I leave with my faith renewed and with many things to think about. Visitor, Ireland
